Administrative and Professional (AP) Restricted Faculty

Annual Leave
- Earn 120 hours per year on July 1.
- No carryover and no payout at separation.
- 16 hours annually and front loaded on Jan. 10 each year.
- Applies to A/P Faculty and 12-month Teaching and Research Faculty eligible for annual leave.
ACGME Medical/Parental/Caregiver Leave
- 6 weeks paid leave to use once during the course of the residency program.
- Will run concurrently with available paid annual and sick leave.
Sick Leave
- 160 hours per year on July 1.
- No carryover and no payout at separation.
Basic and Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance
- 1 x annual salary rounded to the highest thousand company paid.
- Voluntary supplemental life insurance for Resident, spouse and dependents will be available.
- The full premium is paid by the Resident via payroll deduction.
Short and Long Term Disability
- Company-paid short and long term disability provided.
- Short term disability will provide 70% of base salary.
- Long term disability will provide 60% of base salary after a six month waiting period.
Retirement
- Residents can participate in the supplemental 403b and/or 457 retirement plan.
- They can make voluntary contributions in accordance with applicable IRS limits.
- There is no company contribution to the plans.
Health, Dental and Vision
Health, Dental and Vision coverage comparable to the current EVMS coverage will be available. More details on specific plans will be forthcoming.
